I caught up with Michael Fields recently to discuss his documentary film Voice of a Mountain. Michael and his good friend Tyler, are wrapping up the editing of their film this week. Almost 2 years in the making Voice of a Mountain reveals the real life triumphs and struggles of the indigenous people of Guatemala, focusing on their fight for equality through a bloody civil war in the 80’s and on to their current efforts to survive the rigors of a global economy.
