Kamrin and I had the good fortune of meeting Bill Harrison and his crew on the street corner in front of the Latte Da coffee and book shop. With a live band in residence each Saturday the Street Artists of Fairhope do their thing - and they do it well, might I add. Check out my interview with Bill, Jean-Marie McDonnell and Georgie “Gigi” Hackford.

very nice article, enjoyed the pics, thanks for bringing me closer to Fairhope via pics and interviews!
Thanks so much for filming Bill Harrison and the Fairhope Street Artists! It is a real treat to see them in a video and be able to share the link with friends.
We love what the Fairhope Street Artists bring to Fairhope every day! It adds to a sense of place and a quality of life that is appreciated by a great many people who live here. Not only are they talented, but they work very hard every day to impact the community in a positive way. They actually pay out of their own pockets for musicians to play out on the street! They are always ready to help out with worthwhile community projects. Their art workshops are very popular with the locals. They also oonduct workshops for public school art teachers and groups that visit Fairhope. What they give back to the community is far greater than what they receive in monetary terms!!!
Having had the pleasure of working with them on several projects, I can say they are great people to get to know and a pleasure to work with, or just talk to as they paint ou on the sidewalk each day.
Their website is http://www.FairhopeStreetArtists.com and more photos of the Fairhope area can be seen at http://www.BeautifulFairhope.com
Thanks… Dan Therrell
