Duane,

Yes we are actually on the road now. We left Friday and it is now Sunday. We will be uploading all of the content thus far this afternoon. The trip has been great so far - we shot some amazing video yesterday in Fairhope of an artist coalition and their Saturday afternoon music and art street corner exhibition. Such cool stuff.

The map will be uploaded at least every other day or as often as we have a dependable web connection. It will probably lag where we are by about a day and a half.

How exciting for you and your family. We've only been on the road for a few days and we are already having a blast. What a way to see the country.

Stay in touch and feel free to point out any places along the way that you think we should stop into or stories you think we should cover.

Look forward to reading about your family's trip come summer time.

Thanks for stopping by.

What's the offical "we've left home" date?

How often is the "map" going to be updated.

This looks like fun.

My family with 3 kids is planning a trip across the country when my wife and kids finish school this summer. Only 2 months.

You're starting from Winter Park / Orlando area according to the map?
